|Event Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm|
“Heck”, the 127 year old display horse that stood in Heck Saddlery window for 83 years is coming home to the County Museum. Chase Studio in Cedar Creek, Mo. has restored Heck to his original beauty and he may be viewed at the County Museum on May 6, 2017 between the hours of 1:00pm and 4:00 pm. The Moniteau County Historical Society purchased Heck at auction from The Wagon Master in O’Fallon, Mo. last summer where he spent the past 43 years of his life. Donations from California as well as surrounding communities and former residents of Moniteau County paid for the purchase and restoration of the horse. Everyone is invited to “welcome Heck home”. Refreshments will be served in the Meeting Room. The Museum is located across the street west of the Post Office at 201 N. High St in California.
